NakedDave
Anyone seen or used these clubs before? The reason I enquire is that I'm thinking of putting together a combo set utilizing the MP-27 or S-30V long irons and then using either S-30 or TN-87 in the short irons. Thanks in advance for your input!

Thanks in advance for your input! Your combo will have different top lines, soles, bounce etc... and the MP is grain flow forged vs the S-30V being 1025 forged normal. it wont feel like 1 set. Get a purely flowing set with the custom grind option that we offer, same top line, sole, shape, offset and more.
NakedDave
Chris, I've had a set of MP-27 before and would like to know just how the S-30V comapre in size, offset & top line.
hornyjuan
s30v's are humongoid, have disgustingly huge toplines, and major amounts of offset. The s30 was a great set of irons but the s30v was just too GI for my taste. The thing just looked down right ugly at address. I'd say invest in a set of custom Mizunos as you'll have a hard time tracking down a set of s30's, s30v's, mp27's, and TN87's. The mp27 is a easy find but the other three are fairly old and hard to find in like new condition. Your better off going with a 2-tier or 3 tier custom Mizuno set. NakedDave
s30v's are humongoid, have disgustingly huge HJ, Are you saying that the S-30V are bigger overall than the MP-27? FWIW, I have a good friend living in Japan so finding the S-30 and/or TN-87 is no problem.
