markydyno
Hi...just wondering if anyone has hit this shaft and, if so, what does it play like? Any possibility on ordering one? Mark

markydyno
is this the starnge shaft that micheele wie is using in her r5 dual tp?? yes and it looks almost like a composite head in that it looks weaved... I could care less if Wie is playing it really - it looks cool and hopefully it plays to match. mark

I am almost positive this refers to kick point - it is the same designation that other shaft companies have used so it would seem very logical. One thing, I'm assuming that all are .335? Now that I got the Comp 460, I suddenly need .350 - hmmm...maybe i'll have to find another head to hit! lol mark

+TourSpecGolfer
http://www.mamiya-op.co.jp/home/golf/golf.htmlparent companies website. I have never seen pro force platinum shafts? axiv looks interesting , pro force? is this ust 's parent company or ??? Mamiya makes many different things. UST America, Pro Force in Japan, and Axiv not to mention a few other companies. The H, M, & L is indeed for the kick point. How great is that a standard CPM and selectable kick point for any shaft you choose. You can also choose between two colors on all shafts. Orange or Dark Blue, they all have the Triaxl looking weave on the butt end very very  I now play this shaft and put it above my prior two favorites, the GD W60 and GD M65. aproposfornothing
Hi! I have this shaft in my driver now and I would would compare it to the Fujikura Speeder 661... A nice, consistent shaft that crushes the clubhead into the ball without much effort... So far, I'm impressed with it (and it looks cool...) HoMStYLz
Do you have pics of the darkblue? The ones on the site arent great Thanks definatly go with the orange one! its LOUD!!! i had one in my R5 TP for a little while & it was a great feeling shaft, the only reason i went back to the diamana was because i didn't wanna take the time to adapt to another shaft, i wanted to stay with something i knew with 2 weeks until my 1st tour event. Golfer1800
Which one was longer for you in the R5 TP/Tighter dispersion?
HoMStYLz
Which one was longer for you in the R5 TP/Tighter dispersion? there was a gain with the Avix but it was minimal, maybe 5 yards give or take. i think my diamana was tighter feeling but it is tipped 2" as the Avix was only tipped 1/2". if i were to do it again id tip it the same amount & try it again which i may do after my 1st 2 events as i have a 3 week layoff in between. its a tough choice because they are both incredible shafts but id stick with the diamana. What would you say for a 109 smooth swing speed in the Axiv? They offer quite a few flexes, how much should I tip? I am looking to put one in an FT-3 or X-Drive 405... Thanks! My take is you should use a stiff flex and start it untipped then if you need to tighten it up a bit, tip it. I would also suggest using this shaft in nothing larger than a 400cc driver. sunshine8
why no larger than 400 cc for this shaft TSG? would an axiv shaft with different specs work in a 450-460 cc driver?

Its just what I reccomend, Go ahead and put it in a 450+ driver you should tip it though if thats the case. This is only in regards to the 6064 but 6068 on up should be great for bigger size heads. igman
I was curious if anyone knows what model Annika Sorenstam plays in her FT-3. She seems to get the most (distance) out that shaft while remaining very accurate.
