April 18, 200519 yr comment_91440 Chris that's the same as the ion, looks just like the one they have at my local golf shop, it's silver but at certain angles looks black. Unless your shaft is all black and those pics above don't represent the shaft that you have..
April 18, 200519 yr comment_91441 The U.S. version is a silver/gray paint. The Japan version is the Ion/Chrome plating which resembles the Shaqx. The actual black shafts are paint, not a shiny chrome.
April 18, 200519 yr comment_91452 The black/ion version is Japan only - looks a lot like the ShaqX. Matte blue was a rejected color scheme that is found in the early versions that were used some on tour. If Tiger wasn't playing the blue version then it wouldn't be getting all the extra action IMO. The regular boring :tired: silver is the US version. I have a new 73x Ion like that shown in Chris' pictures (although mine is an Xstiff) and it looks great. Much nicer than the US version. Just deciding whether to install it or sell it to fund a Balde. :rolleyes:
April 18, 200519 yr comment_91459 That is the Ion version I have seen the black Diamana in another pic. The black version has yellow flowers and a different color script than the Ion. The black version looks best to me but i am not sure of the specs on it.
