My father called me up the other day to play some golf. When I went to pick him up, he said he would drive. I was all for it since gas prices are a beatch and my Sequoia drinks it up like water. He already had his bag in the trunk so I squished my bag behind his to the rear of the trunk.

We had a nice round of golf and returned to his car. When I placed my bag in his trunk I noticed a big crack in the bottom of my bag. Apparently when I squished my bag in his trunk when it closed the hinge of the trunk cracked the bottom of my bag. :wah: If my dad hadn't been there I think I would have let out the BIGGEST F**K! :wah:

Guy's.....what can I say...be careful when putting your bags in trunks. I guess I should be happy it didn't cave in the head of one of my clubs, but damn...I think the CBS41 is harder to replace!

Ouch bro...that's bad luck. I hope the v-steel is still treating you well despite the little blemish...

:smile2: Hey Duke....the V Steel is still in the bag. The ONLY club that's stayed in that bag for almost a year now. It's had it's moments, but it's place is still pretty safe.

That sux :wah: But with such a sweet bag I might try to get it repaired. I wonder if a boat repair shop that works with fiberglass and resin could do a little mend job. Might not be perfect but it would keep dirt and water out. Paint the mend black and probably only you would know it was there.

I was thinking on the same lines as you. Since I am in Hawaii, I was thinking about using the same stuff to take "dings" out of surfboards. A little resin and fiberglass cloth. Now all I need is some spare time to do it!

I think there's a lot of folk round here who would take a roadkill CBS41 over a new retail bag anyday :blackeye:

I am not sure about the CBS41. I have had zipper problems on the main pocket since I got it from Japan. First bag I have ever had with a zipper problem. Very strange!!!
