I've seen the real X2 black heads, but is there an alternative way to make the head black and keep the markings? After market paint, refinishing? Thanks, JS

you could also use Jim at Custom Club Coatings... I sent my SC Pro Platinum in for the treatment and expect it tomorrow or Monday. He charges $20 - 25 for putters including return shipping and I have never heard a bad thing about his work.

Jim does great work, but just a warning, he is getting REALLY far behind on his work. I've heard of people just getting stuff back they sent in February.

yep... im one of those. he had a family emergency so he is behind. i talked to him on the phone and he is working 6 am - 2 or 3 am to catch up. i think its worth the wait if you are willing. i know i am looking forward to receiving my putter back.
