bobduda
Didn't see any close up pics, but just from the TV coverage of the Open, ... What are the shafts KJ Choi has in all his clubs? The iron shafts look like the same as the driver & fairway shafts.

IMAGOLFER
He has MCC MFS 115 shafts in his irons and an MCC Matrix shaft in his driver. GREAT SHAFTS! I have the MFS 65 in one of my drivers and MFS 85 in a 3 wood. http://www.mccshafts.com
jinjuwooa
I have a MFS 65 in my 4 wood. Very stable and very long. I would recommend without hesitation.
robbie
yep...i agree those shafts are very stout and very acurate....i have actually lost about 1/3 to 1/2 a club on my irons but the trajectory, feel, and accuracy was very well worth it....i recently put the mfs115 in x2 flex in my irons and the mfs65 in my fairway wood and the matrix in my driver.....i would advise going one flex lighter than you need.....there are approx 12 subflexes that mcc offers.............they are a quality product but make sure you have a quality installer for the shafts they really are a pain to work with, they come parallel tip so if you need taper tip, you need to sand them yourself and the paint is very thick, it actually will not fit a ferrule properly w/o modification ! sly_sam
If i ever put a graphite shaft in my irons, i'd go with these. I talked to golf Town about it but they can't get the MCC brand shafts ordered in. I wish they could, i really like how they look in the irons. sly_sam
appache is probably the most underated shaft company. So true man, so true. More people should use them.
chilton00
I do club repair out of the Golf Course I am a member at. I have an account with MCC/Apache. You guys are right on, They are one of the most underated shaft companies out there. I wish business was better so that I could push more of these shafts out. The MFS 115 iron shafts are very acurate and tight for graphite. I have a set of T.M. C.B's that have them in there and they have a really nice feel and trajectory. All my woods have MCC shafts except for my 3 wood (Nike T-60) it has a Fuji 869 in it. I just can't find a better fairway wood shaft than that one. MGB
I tried the MFS 65N in a Callaway GBB 415 Pro-Series of my teaching pro. It's long and stable. seems to have a stiff tip and soft butt and mid-section. It doesn't seem to have a very lively feel at impact. I'm not complaining or anything. Just observations from half an hour at the range.
