+TourSpecGolfer
looking for a new ball. anybody hit all three and can compare? thanks! Great you asked, I play these balls and simply adore them. I rank them in this order: ( For my swing ) 1st: X-01H....why? because Im a picker who hits down on the ball and gets enough back spin as is. The H is a low spin ball that is a tad harder than the S but similar in fell to the normal X01. 2nd: X-01S....why? because on hard greens I really appreaciate the way it stops, of all three it has the softest feel, It dont spin to much and this ball reminds me of a better feel PROVx. 3rd: X-01....why? Its very similar to the normal PROV but performs longer with about the same amount of spin for me. Hope this helps and these balls are the reason why titleist had to change the technology on the original PROV1X and release the not as good version stamped " New "

I suggest balls you can find at your local pro shop. If ya got money to burn or a need to try somthing new go for it. I really like the Hx56 and before that the HX Tour. Dont expect much of a difference unless your a really good player. I do find that certain drivers match up with particular balls better but I have yet to stick to one driver on one ball long enough to figure out whats right for me. Guest
thanks for the nice comparison - anybody else?
xxio
I play all 3 as well. I have similar observations to chris but my preference is the other way. I like the X01 first, X01S second and the X01H last. X01 is the most drop and stop of the 3. I fly everything to the hole and stop it there, even on short pitches. X01 spins the most. Feel: softest to hardest- X01S, X01, X01H (H feels like the B330Tour) Distance: X01S and X01H I would say the same with the H seeming to be a tad more on irons, X01 shorter but not by much. It is probably roll that gives th S and H the distance ver the X01. The H was quite a disappointment for me. The X01 and X01s, even though they are a 2 year old model balls still have superior tech in them for my game. Chris, I have a Precept 333 Tour Premium-X that I picked up. I posted a pic over at Golfwrx. Do you know anything about this ball and the Tourstage equivqlent. Strangely though it has a triple digit number which is normally associated with Srixon.
