I am thinking about buying a set of TS 202s, but never hit them before!

Can anyone compare them with MX23s / or Titleist 804s??

Are they as forgiving as the MX23s??

Are they smaller than the MX23s or about the same size??

Any feedback appreciated

(FYI: I am a 16 handicapper!)

Thanks

Johann

Hi Johann,

I have played both and currently have the 202s in the bag. Here's my opinion.

Looks- TS-202 hands down. Beautiful design. Much nicer lines and styling.

Size- Very similar in the long irons, but the MX-23 short irons are bigger and chunkier looking then the 202s. I also think the 23s have more offset throughout the set.

Feel- I thought the 202s felt a little better, but both have nice forged feel

Forgiveness- Both are very forgiving. Not Ping G2 forgiving, but as good as it gets for a forged iron. At a 16 you can handle 202s with ease.

Get the 202s if you have the chance......

Thanks for the information.

Do you happen to have pics of the TS202s??

TS-202's are the better club, without a doubt. I have been professionally fitted and played both. The biggest difference for me was the TS-202's felt softer, but more solid. Especially in the long irons.

No comparison, go TS-202's.

Thanks,

Bert-B
