plus1
hey guys im looking into these shafts for either my driver or fairway wood. i have heard that the w60 has quite a low kick point and is very easy to get airbourne! can anyone who has played it give me some feedback? which would u recommend as a fw shaft or a driver shaft? and do both play stout or do they just play to flex? thanks
+TourSpecGolfer
IMO the M65 plays tighter and lower. I use the W60 and TSGirl uses the same also, its a great shaft. I would select M65 for a FW and the W in my driver. It depends on your swing, and I feel like I know some about yours from our conversations and perhaps the W would fit you better. plus1
thanks chris....the w60 is obviously less demanding than the m-65....so i think your right in that the W would suit best! for enjoyment sake anyway. i remember you played this shaft around a year ago, then you changed to the axiv......now your back to the W60. just out of interest why the change back? and in your opinion is the w60 every bit as good a performer as the axiv? ie in terms of dispersion and mainly in distance? dcc14
+1, I remember reading a previous thread where Chris said that in his opinion, he would not go with the Axiv in a Driver Head larger than 400cc. With that said, the ViQ is obviously 450cc so maybe that's why the W60 is back in the bag. Dave
