just found a brand new set of mr23s on ebay...i played these a few years ago and loved them...but please tell me guys are they worth this price???especially with the new mr23 line up coming! :surprize: :laugh: :cool:

The 23's are definitely a sweet set of irons, but the set you have in the bag at present can't be matched imo.

Also, at over 1G I don't think the 23's are worth it right now. Obviously I know finding a set in 'new' condition is very rare nowadays, but with all the new sticks out, or set to be released, I think you could spend that money on something else.

From what you wrote, you've previously had them in the bag so just get that ViQ 450 & save the rest for the new 23 line up. But again, just my opinion & the 23's are pretty unreal. :smile1:

honestly dave i was never considering them, the nc1s are just as sweet feel and much easier to hit! i was basically just asking who thinks that these are worth...that sort of cash, especially since there is talk of a new set!

plus guys once the new mr23s come out these will be nearlly worthless, regaurdless of them bein in the wrappers!

IMHO these were a fantastic club when they came out, still are great.....just with technology etc a better set can be had with equal feel and more forgiveness....for the same if not less money! :cool:

If they were the blades in the plastic, then I would consider it for that much, but as far as forged CB's go, there are much better options out there for the same price. The handmade NC1's are the most BUTTER set that I have had the pleasure of hitting. I can't wait to see the new Maru's that are coming out. I just hope that I can withstand the temptation of getting them!!!!! :wah:

have to agree with you, i love my handmades lol. although a well struck maru was awesome too!

personally i dont think these will sell, as even if you did desperately want a set, im sure you could pick up a second hand set for 500 or less! The no bids really does say it all!

I just bought a set of used heads 8/10 for $200 which seems like a pretty good deal. New set has to be worth $800.

The set on ebay sold for $1400. + . I have two sets as I think they are one of the best irons made but would I spend $1400 on a new set...NO. However, someone did so who knows... :tsg_smilie_money3:

Personally, I would guess $850-950. new in plastic would be fair.
