Give me you thoughts on this putter. If the stamping were custom done shoudnt it have the custom stamp but it has the t stamped on the back like early tour models.

Im no scotty expert but it looks like a fake straight up :fever:

Why do you say that Chris? Is it the paintfill or stampings the milling marks looks like a genuine scotty i'm really unsure about this I hope Buff reads this or reid maybe they can shed some light

This isnt even a rip off attempt.....the scotty tours have a CIRCLE T stamped on the heads not just a T!

IMO this is definately a fake.....

100% not Tour. Worth about $200

The T stamp appeared only on Tiger's putter for a little while. This is a stock Studio Stainless stamped with a home stamp kit. Paintfill can be done by anyone.

yeh, that looks like a custom home done retail putter to me, red paintfill and scotty stampings can be done by anyone. Is it being sold as a legit tour putter?

definitely not tour. The T stamp will usually only show up on carbon steel, early tour putters. It's been replaced by the circle-t.

I've actually been checking out this putter on eBay as well. It is NOT being marketed as a legit tour scotty - the seller actually states that it is very likely to be a stock retail putter, with aftermarket stampings. The price being sought is a bit on the high side, but definitely not circle T level. Nice looking putter though.

(Just to clarify I am not the seller)

It's a REAL Cameron Studio Stainless beach with AFTERMARKET "T" and "CRown Scotty" stamp.

I hate this kind of stuff....but to each his own. I for one would rather have the retail model with none of the fake stamps.

Hey, Aussie Freddie, have a look at Chris' post on the "ONE" by gauge. Now that's a putter!
