Posted September 27, 200519 yr Chris or anyone else, any feedback on these fairway woods? They look really good. g-one-golf.com has some excellent pics of the clubs. Are you able to upgrade the shafts in fairway woods? I noticed in the catalog it only has the stock shaft listed for z-steels. I really want the 14.5* if they hit as good as they look. I am really impressed with Srixons current Japanese offerings. Thanks in advance

With Srixon I can order a custom face angle but it will ship 1 month late. have you hit either the z steel, the mizuno jpx or the tourstage xst yet chris? No I have not hit the Z-Steel but I hear only good things about them, The JPX I absolutley love, its very easy to hit and has almost every shaft option under the sun. The X-ST is laggin, I ordered it with a NS 750 wrap tech and its taking a while.

Same deal with me, The 3 wood is the hardest club for me to stick with or be satisfied for long periods of time, I need to find a shaft that gives me the distance of graphite and the accuracy of steel.
September 28, 200519 yr well chris seeing we are on the same boat, whenever you figure out which 3wd is easiest to hit.....let me know lol! ive gone through far too many to give up now  ....a ho's job is never done
September 28, 200519 yr Chris, Is Gauge going to come back with a successor to the GAF1 FW? I like the 3 and I'm looking for a 5. If I can't get the same family, I'd think about the Srixon or Miz JPX.
