parputt
I am 99% sure I will ho again and get an AVIX to put in my R5 Tour 9.5.I am currently using a Fuji 671TE stiff which is awesome but....all the posts about the AVIX have peaked my interest not to mentioned my hoing tendencies,Only thing is which one.Chris has suggested the 6064 and it sounds right but what kickpoint?I am thinking Mid since the R5 launches higher anyway.I swing around 105-107 and hit rather than swing.really havent hit many shafts I couldnt handel with the right flex.Anyone else besides what is posted want to add input on this mode? The 6.4 is CPMs I believe and I have hit Rifles in both 6.0 & 6.5with good results so this should be a good fit. robbie
i have the axiv 6054 in my r5tp 10.5 deg.....the shaft has been tipped about 1.5" and it plays pretty loose......it does hit some bombs but if i had to do it again i might go a bit heavier..ive got a small roll of lead tape under the grip to give this setup some heft !!!!....my swing is about 108-115 but i prefer stiff in my woods and 6.0px or soft stepped 1150 in my irons !! Hey R, Are you sure you have the 6054? not 6064? The 6064 was M.W's shaft at her high 120's swing speed. I also know others with SS of above 115mph getting killer results and major distance with the 6064. If you move up a flex it would be the 6068. randagios
Need some advice too. Which Avis shaft is similar in term of flex and playbility to a Diamana 63 in regular flex? I am thinking about the 5560M or the 6060M.
plus1
the 5560 would probably be the most similar as it will play closer in terms of flex. the diamana 63's play quite weak to flex. i have played bth and found both very easy to work and are very playable, especially for a swinger. Axiv definately is longer though!
baimo
How much do avix cost? Do they have web site?
+TourSpecGolfer
How much do avix cost? Do they have web site? You can find them in the www.tourspecgolf.com/catalog Click on view web page at the bottom of the Axiv add to view the home website. Need some advice too. Which Avis shaft is similar in term of flex and playbility to a Diamana 63 in regular flex? I am thinking about the 5560M or the 6060M I suggest the 6060M, L or H depending on what flight you are trying to achive. Start be installing it untipped then if you need it tighter are stiffer tip in 1/4" increments.
randagios
TSG and Plus1 thanks for the help. How is the tip flex of both (5560M and 6060M) compared with the Diamana 63R, which at my opinion is quite soft?

How is the tip flex of both (5560M and 6060M) compared with the Diamana 63R, which at my opinion is quite soft? both should be similar as all three are supposedly mid kick shafts...if anything i would say the diamana is softer! i couldnt believe how soft the diamanas tip was......especially in the 63! parputt
The only difference between the 6064 and 6564 is a few grams of weight corect.Everything else on the chart seems the same.
parputt
Also the torque is a little lower in the 6564.
plus1
true parput! the 6564 is for the slightly stronger player....its bit heavier with lower torque.....very stable shaft.....if it is the right flex for you im positive you will notice yardage gains!
