Royal Collection Question

Seems like the RC website shows two different Type-H fairway woods. One is called SFD Type-H and the other BBD Type. What exactly are the differences?

Two different shapes, they are both very old models, Im talking late 2003!

The C.V pro is the latest version and I hear there will be a C.V type H March 2006.

chris what is it exactly the type H model is meant to do? ie does it give it a different trajectory? and does the royal collection stuff have the same feel that i dislike about the sonartecs?....sort of hollow and airy fairy lol?

Its just a different face profile and shape. All RC's have that hollow feel, kinda like the GAF1 by Gauge Japan. If you want solid at impact the FST+ is king of the ring and X-ST #2.

FYI rumor has it there is a new utility by tourstage called the X-UT coming late 2005 early 2006. It will probobly be lower launching with a deeper face.

and yeah i absoluitely hate that hollow feel of the sonartecs...dont get me wrong they are a great club that are easy enough to hit....i just like something more solid!

FST+ for me anyway is probably just tooooo deep....id have to go for the xst

I much prefer the sound and feel of RC's over TourStages. They don't feel hollow but they just feel "hot" in a very pleasant way to me. I'm very interested in the C.V. Type-H but I wonder how much better they will be than the BBD Type-H and I don't want to wait until March, 2006!!!

Chris, can you talk to RC and confirm the release date of the CV Type-H is March 2006? I heard from another source that it'll be December 2005.

I already have and they told me March 2006, If its out Dec. 05 all the better.

Also, do you have any inforation about the CV Type-H? Head profile, new technology involved, etc.? Thanks.

Its all Design with RC, they dont have what I would call new technology in these FW's. FYI they are made in China just like their Irons etc.. Im not a big fan for their FW's but the new S.F.I Iron is pretty decent.
