Ichiro
Great match up. Quality pitching on both sides Clemens, Petitte, Oswalt for Houston while Contreras, Freddy Garcia, Buehrle, Garland for Chicago. My prediction: Houston in 7 as the Rocket pitches a shutout.
shoe295
Oh my, I just have to differ with the Clemens shutout. He hasn't looked like the same guy as in the first half of the season. I don't think the Sox can match 4 complete games in a row again but it's sure gonna be fun to watch. GO SOX!
DoubleAA
A world series without the NY crybabies is a good World Series in my book!!!!! I don't care who wins, I just want some quality baseball. Clemens will give some quality time on the mound but a shut it will not happen against the Sox, best hitting team in baseball! Would like to see Bagwell go out with some hardware. But, then again I would like to see Chicago get that win so they could finally get over World Series scandal back in the 30's. Anybody see the movie, "Eight men out"
DoubleAA
I asked for quality baseball and absolutly received it, allthough it was a sweep for the best team in Chicago, any one of those 4 game could have gone houstons way. What a team Ken williams put together. That "Small Ball" theory worked very well for Guillen and the club. Jermaine Dye was my only candidate for MVP but Juan Uribe really made the 2 most important defensive plays the whole series. Bobby Jenks was unstoppable at CLOSING TIME!! Da Sox's win after 88 year drought. Let me change my Sox's from Red to White.

Game 2 was my favorite, Houston up by 2, then Konerko slams, Vizcaino ties it with a 2 RBIs with 2 outs in the 9th, then Podsednik wins it. True classic.
