Phillip Alexander
whats the best way to add the most amount of weight to a putter head. Add some weight to the shaft by filling it with either sugar or sand as per a previous post. You'll be surprised at how good you putt after doing this. :tsg_smilie_cool:

acrazygolfer
The fastest and cheapest is to add lead tape to either the sole or to the cavity (anser style) ... or you can have the putter ported and thereafter adding steel/lead/etc. ingots. gunmetal
i tried adding sand, but i don't want to add weight to the shaft, i want to add it to the head Adding just a little Tungsten Powder down the shaft as far as the shaft is inserted in the head would be adding weight to the head. Using Tungsten Powder will give you more weight for the mass. Otherwise, lead tape is the way to go. There's a lot of putters today that allow you to add weight - the Wishon Smoooth 6 and 7 have weight cavity ports. There's a new Snake Eyes putter that has a weight bar. The Guerin Rife 2 bar. There's more, I'm just drawing a blank.
