dhorlander
Looking for an import blade. Similar to the Cameron Napa or Wilson 8800 series. Any recommendations?
Phillip Alexander
:tsg_smilie_cool: Hey good question. I have a Wilson 8802 and a Bettinardi BB2, but I would be interested in what the imported manufacturers have to offer in this area.
xxio
That has been one of my holy grails as well. The only import "8802" I have tried is a Honma from the early/mid 90s. Bronze color. Felt good but the shape wasn't the exact shape I was looking for. More like the Napa Oil Can. I prefer the softer shape of the 8802 and Napa gun blue. sly_sam
The Yes! C-Groove Sophia is a good choice. Beleive me now, the grooves make a difference.
pitbull808
One of the best blades that I have .....and I have a lot of them. ;) Is an old Daiwa that I purchased back in 1982. It's got a great weight to it, a graphite shaft and has got the greatest feel. I've been looking for another one for ages.

I will be spending lots of time at Gauge HQ early 2006 and will push hard to produce a limited number of them.

sly_sam
Any traditional blade type is gonna be a pretty nice putter from the sounds of it. Or at least nice looking.
dhorlander
That sure looks like a Mac IMG5 head. Pitbull - Love the classic design on that Mac. Very close to the 8802. :tsg_smilie_cool: I second that!!! Third!!! The only one I have seen was the ONOFF PUTTER OL-1/2003 Model Looks good. How is the "feel" with this insert?
