+TourSpecGolfer
Depends what models you are talking about, As far as the latest models go, I can compare the X-Drive 435 10.5 to the ViQ 450 9.5 model for you. I cant compare the new ViQ version to these because its not released till the 15th of Jan. I don't know how much the shaft comes into effect but its the PT-6 vs W60, both in the 60 gram range with close to 3.5* torque and both have a medium/high trajectory and get the ball up very easy. The X-Drive 10.5 has the same trajectory as the ViQ 9.5 because it plays true to loft, It feels as if there is a higher C.O.G as well. The feel of the X-Driver is far more solid and muted with a quieter sound. the ViQ 450 has a hollow yet absorbing feel as do all ViQ clubs do. Its face is far more shallow and is more forgiving on toe and heel mistakes. The XD is of course more forgiving if the you hit the ball high on the face. The totally square face of the XD will not air a slicer any but I can say with no doubt that this is the best X-Drive I have hit to date, the most forgiving and in 10.5 the longest for me. I cant wait for the new ViQ model. It seems better suited to my game and easier to use.
