Pureing an uncut shaft then cutting it down to 3 Wood length

I was thinking about ordering an 85 gram Grafalloy NT Prototype shaft from Golfsmith and let them PURE it for me. I am going to use this shaft for my 3 wood. I was wondering if once the shaft is cut down to 3 wood length if it will alter the way the shaft needs to be inserted. As you can tell I am new at this and really don't know what I'm talking about and would be open to any suggestions.

It very well could. Pureing, Spinging, Floing is best done after the shaft has been cut. You could ask Golfsmith to trim it and then pure it - hopefully they'll do this for you.

nope.. your only looking at trimmin git an inch or not even tipping it all.. install it the way it is marked... the tipping will not affect it.. :tsg_smiley_pimp:
