I hit an Aurora Driver with this shaft in today. Granted it was indoors on a launch monitor, but it fealt great. Does anyone know anything about this shaft? It is not on there website and a Google search brought up nothing.

Joe Kwok if you read this maybe you can shed some light on the subject.

Look at the MCC website for spec info.

TP7x is super expensive. If you see it again, place some water on the shaft or rub some sweat on it and watch it disappear! It does not evaporate that quickly but instantly the moisture is gone. It must be soaking in. Check it out.

The MSRP on the Ozik lineup is $1000.00 They must be 20 times longer and more accurate than a Blue.

You would think that but, the results FOR ME proved otherwise.

I have owened both the ALUS and the TP7 and have found that neither can outperform my diamana 63 or a 757 speeder! In the feel department yes it was unreal, and it did produce a super ball flight, but it was no straighter or longer!

Just my 2 cents......maybe my swing isnt suitable, or good enough for one! :tsg_smilie_confused: :tsg_smilie_rolleyes:

Or perhaps it could simply be - dare I say - a marketing strategy.

Lynxter,

I am curious about your hitting the Aurora with the Ozik shaft. I have a brand new Aurora head that I am undecided what shaft to put in it. I was told by Steve at Advanced Gofl Technologies that this head needed a soft tip or lively tip shaft to perform at it's best due to the bore being nearly 2" and blind deep into the head.

This is the norm with blind bore and bore through, but he said it was even more pronounced due to the 2" dimension.

So, was the Ozik one of the $400 models, ie: Medius, Infra, Altus .... or was it the $1000 TP-7, or TP-7x

ALso, what was the flex? They have S, SX, X, XX in each shaft.

Any help at all would be GREATLY appreciated!

Thanks VERY much,

Skip

1st the aurora is a hot faced driver head.. the ozik shaft has a few different lines.. and price levels.. $1000 levell and $400 level.. hit the lesser ha ha $400 shafts.. altus, medius and the new fwy and hybrid shafts.. what i saw in launch monitor hitting(zelocity) and outdoors (impact tape) and naturall flight is that i hit more center shots period.. had the shaft in a nak 460, & j33 420... would have to give the edge to the shaft for this help in accuracy.. i know it's crazy sounding but the shafts feel great and helped me hit more center shots.. now -- yes i still can hook the hell out of it or block it wayyy right.. but on the all more fwy's hit for me.. they should make a huge impact this year as alot of pga pro's are already hititng it and it looks like finally mcc/matrix will do some advertising.. :atsg_smilie_nikewoods:
