rymorrison
I have a fast swing speed and feel that I maybe should use a 1150 nippon flex... I have always used a s-300 TT flex and has worked pretty well... what are your feelings on playing a stiffer flex.... I am not quite sure I may be up to the 1150 flex, would it hurt playability with irons? and conversely would a flex that is too weak hurt playability? Finally which would be worse; too strong or too weak of a flex? Thanks alot for all your help! SwingMan
The 1150 just has a stiffer tip - I also think it has more energy. I don't have a high ss, my preferred flex is somewhere between a Rifle 5.5 and S300. You won't have a problem with the 1150 Stiff. I have a Miura Gap Wedge in an 1150 Stiff. One of my favorite clubs and have now ordered clubs with the 1150 stiff. I think it plays between a 5.5 and 5.7 on a Rifle Scale. So it may be a tad softer than what you're accustomed to (the S300). Lowpro
error on the stiffer side for the irons if you have a quick tempo.. help the ball go straigher-- the 1150's would match up best with the s-300 DG's.. :atsg_smilie_bomb1:
