There is a rumor over on GolfWRX right now that a few players will be playing it at the masters, and that d**ks sporting goods would be the only us dealer to carry them since there one of Taylor's biggest accounts. Also it was reported on REX that retief was playing with one at the bellsouth. Anyone have any further knowledge on this? On WRX right now there is also a confirmed rumor that Taylor will be releasing a TP ball at the Masters.

Not sure if they will be seen stateside, but for those interested I still have these in stock. I'm surprised the U.S players are only catching wind of these now, They have been out for almost 2 years and used to be in many bags on the JPGA tour.

TM Japan TP Driving Iron 229.00 + 22.00 Shipping available in NS950, S200, and X100! 16* & 19* Lofts!

2 years ago on Kauai, Goosen had the Japan TP driving iron head cover on his putter. I have no idea which one he is playing now. For a long time I told you guys this driving iron was the best. I guess it takes a pro to convince you... :tsg_smilie_wink:

I still own the TP 2U yet think the PRGR 220i is a better club.

these are great clubs!!

they feel as good as the TourStage airmuscle(Japan Model) and yet, i hit the TP one better off the rough, and off the deck

that's why i ordered them from Japan and i was lucky enough to get both 16* and 19* for a very good price,

should be coming in late April, 2-3 more weeks!!!

I had a few of those and they are legit, You will notice they have a serial number on the back area, I'm not sure what this number is but I'm guessing it either designates it for tour use or means its defective. Really cant say.

  • 4 weeks later...

So far I've seen two completely different versions of the TM utlity iron. There's this one:

post-5538-1146509302_thumb.jpg

The one that you were showing us before that looks like a deep, under cut cavity-back iron with an extra wide sole...

And this one:

post-5538-1146509304_thumb.jpg

Which looks more like the other utility irons I've seen as of late with the hallow, muscle, cavity whatever and the moveable weights on the sole, heel side, and out on the toe. Like the Titleist 503.H and others in shape.

Two utility iron models from the same company? Is this like the Rescue Mid v.s. the (less popular) Rescue Fairway? Any explaination for this one?
