I would like to try the Axiv in my fairway wood. I did the fitting thread, and I was fitted to a 6572M for the driver.

I like a slightly heavier shaft for the fairway, so should I try the 7572M and tip it? Or try should I go up a flex to the 7576M and not tip?

Currently, I have the Graphite Design Tour AD PT-7 Stiff in my fairway and it feels a little light and a little soft, but good trajectory.

Looking for some input. Thanks.

mamiya is no doubt a great shaft. no idea how it plays in a fairway, but i think you should consider trying the Graphite Design Tour AD M-75.

Per mrzodia, the M-75 is the best fairway shaft I've ever hit. The PT-7 isn't too far behind.

If you want to try the Axiv, put it in your driver first.

I havent tried an axiv in my fairway wood. I am tempted to try the new V-Spec in my G-Field Utility wood.

If you thought the PT-7 was light be safe and go with the PT-8.
