+TourSpecGolfer
I didnt think i would care for the green when i first saw it but now i think its easiest on the eyes when compared to the other colors. very subtle and clean minty fresh look to it :tsg_smiley_laughatyou: Best part is the matching grips. I still stand by these putters being the best anser's ever made.
sly_sam
I like both of them!! The colour scemes are an amazing idea for putters.
bennytheblade21
would it be possible if you could do a side by side top view comparison of blue, orange or red as it looks to me and mint green? Thanks, Blade
Sgt_Slaughter
Both are sweet putters. I myself like the gren as well. Not too hard on the eyes like you said. They both look great either way.

+TourSpecGolfer
We all know Cameron has the best looking Ansers. Yes I agree as far as stamping and finish goes but not design and performance. there is this new 1 of a kind Scotty SCS pyramid GSS putter sold to a buyer in Japan. Its unreal! I think Vox got it. As far as shape goes I personally like the Hoshino prototype best but thats my personal flavor. For me scotty lacks in design concept, The Futura, C-5, and the Circa series not to mention Scotty doesn't venture into proven inserts or new technology that creates a better roll. Scotty is for people more concerned with style and collecting IMO. TMs ASGI, Yes C-Groove, Gauge Japan 3RTNC and now this new G-Field Insert are steps in a better direction and thats fact when you study numbers, skidding, and other performing factors. As far as roll and feel cameron is falling behind, even his GSS models don't compare to the soft feel and roll the new SS303 insert in these premium zone putters. Before I was even into import gear I collected Scotty putters. And I can honestly say i have tried all flavors. don't be fooled guys, GSS, SS303, SS304 and all these metals are cheap when purchased in bulk. Putters come down to design. Now days putters have their backs milled in china then shipped to the states or Japan for the face to be done or the final polish, stamping and finishing. Here is how I break it down: Best Design and Performance 1. G-Field 2. Yes 3. G. Rife Best Quality in Materials and Process 1. Bettinardi 2. Hiro Matsumoto 3. G-Field Best Aesthetics and Style 1. Scotty Cameron 2. G-Field 3. Bettinardi
ckay
I like that breakdown! Very informative. I'm just not much for import equipment because, well, I can't afford it nor do I know much about them. To me, there is nothing more clean and classic than a Scotty Circle T. I think the main reason why Scotty doesn't come out with anything innovative(besides the C-5 and Futura) is because of the continued success he has on tour. Why mess with something that is proven week in and week out?

Why mess with something that is proven week in and week out? That brings up another controversial topic. Scotty is one of the only guys who pays people to play his putters per event. Many other putter companies have a bit of a tiff over that and think its unfair. I personally think its ok, but it says something about why so many play his putters. I will scan some images of some unreal scotty putters that are beyond circle T. I think they will blow your mind how sweet they look. Give me several days and i will make a separate thread on it. Why mess with something that is proven week in and week out? Scotty has a monopoly on the market since he pays players to play his putters, figure how different it would be if scotty did not pay players! Ckay I think you are missing that it all comes down to who is rolling the ball the best that week, sc just benefits because he has a higher percentage of players than any other company playing a cameron. I am not bashing camerons I am a collector myself and have been a club member for three years. But since scotty has so much more of the market than any one else of course those putters will be proven week in and week out.

I've seen them all...garage putters, grafitti putters, twisted necks, snowflakes, "scotty" written in welded beads, etc. However, I'm always up for looking at the unreal ones you have to show me...maybe I'll see something I've never seen before. I think He's running out of ideas. And one more thing. Has anybody else heard about Scotty Cameron signing with Nike at the end of his contract this year. The rumors are flying over here. Somebody give me some noise!
+TourSpecGolfer
I have heard that rumor many times. It could be true as Nike has been holding out on a putter maker and they do have the mula :tsg_smilie_money3: I agree, I am bored of cammys but the guy has style and I appreciate that. Here is that link i promised the Cammy fans: New Scotty Scans and Pics
plus1
i love the g field premiums, i have 3 circle t cammerons and the premium zone zero is in the bag over them all! i currently have the orange, which imo is fantastic. i have also ordered a black model for a more sleek look. The Green really does nothing for me, i personally think the green is a weak colour, and i would worry that it would clash against the green grass on the green. However it may look different in real life. But in terms of performance the premium zone is the daddy!!!!

After having used it now for a couple of months, I like the way the color insert really frames the ball up nicely in the setup. The feel of the grip is exquisite and just fits the hands so well, no harsh edges. The roll of the putter blade is the best feature. I can't say enough how well it performs and that is the greatest thing about it. Hands down the best putter, period!! It rocks.
