Don't think the drivers are that similar at all - different head volume, deeper face, square face angle, internal weighting.
July 30, 200619 yr The Japanese OEMs have some new way to make conforming drivers perform better than non conforming, like the PRGR T3 which has a lower C.O.R than most conforming has an average 2 yard increase over non conforming. This was done with even a normal depth positioned CG as well.
