Jdmclubber
Hi Guys fairly new here. And have enjoyed reading some great postes! Just wondering who has played any of these irons. Im looking for a quality forged iron, Ive played the Titty 670 and 695. I looking at either the Fourteen Tb 1000 or the proto's. i also like the Tourstage X-Blade. Didn't quite like the look of the Beres. Cheers and thanks in advance!
Blader-X
Hi Guys fairly new here. And have enjoyed reading some great postes!Just wondering who has played any of these irons. Didn't quite like the look of the Beres. Cheers and thanks in advance! Haven't played the Fourteen's but currently play the TourStage X-Blades. Look under the Iron Set Reviews for my review on them. Like them very much, however I do wish they had some leading edge relief. For me, could be the only down side but I have thoroughly enjoyed them. Stock shaft choices are limited but you could always have them changed. I'm actually playing around with idea of going with NS 1150's since I just had a wedge made with that shaft and really like the way it performs. I used to play 690.MB's and find these X-Blades superior to those. Ultra-thin topline. Good luck with your decision.

Jdmclubber
Thank you for the info! The more i read about them the more i like the x-blade's. How do you tell the diference between the first x - blades and the x-blade 2's, and when did they come out?? Regards...
rickosoh
I have the TB-1000 protos with the True Temper Tour Concept shafts and I prefer them over the X-Blades. The TB-1000 is slightly longer from heel to toe than the X-Blades, and that's how I like my irons to be. Although the TB-1000 are cast irons, they still feel soft at impact. These irons dink up just as easily as forged irons if u do not protect them. Distance wise, I hit the Fourteens longer but that might be because of the Tour Concept shafts. My X-Blades had Dynamic Gold S300s in them.
+TourSpecGolfer
Yup they are cast yet soft, I was amazed they must have taken a page from honma's play book as you would think they are forged if you no one said anything. The TB is a nice iron, fairly forgiving more so than say the MP-33. I do suggest trying the forged new model fourteen MB as well. X-Blade2 is soft, long irons are fairly easy to hit as far as blades go and they are one of the top MBs in any market.
Jdmclubber
Thanks guy's, This is looking at being a hard one, like the look of both irons very much from what I have read. You guys have been great. Still can't decide. But i know it will be the x-blade or TB1000. Not Proto's. Chris we are pretty close to a deal... :tsg_smilie_wink:
