High launching shaft for driver...please help

Featured Replies

I am looking for a high launching shaft for my driver and need help. So far I have narrowed my selection down to the ProLaunch, NVS, and Fujikura Platform. Any suggestions and/or opinions would be greatly appreciated. BTW my swing speed falls in the 105-110 category, and my launch angle is very low.

if you are a very low launcher of the ball i would highly suggest - a stiff flex or even poss an x flex graphite design Tour AD W60. This shaft has a very low kick point which will increase your launch, and help you get the ball in the air. Also this will help inrease your carry! The feel and kick from this shaft is really good, yet it manags to stay stable through the hitting zone. I would also highly recommend you trying a higher loft on your driver.

Of those, I would suggest the NVS. However, the Irod Driver absolutely launches - super dooper high. Tremendously underrated shaft IMO.
