DREV & Mach Line Shafts by NGS

The read up on these shafts is unreal - so much that i have just ordered a drev icn tour light in another epon 460. When i get this driver in i will have a show down between the drev tour light vs the axiv v spec. both shafts are in the same head and loft so it will be a fair competition.

aside from performance factors and the inevitable quality from a handmade japan shaft - does anyone else think these are just sexy?!!!! :tsg_smiley_yes: :tsg_smilie_cool:

Those shafts look unreal! I've been holding off on my Epon 460 order because I can't decide what shaft I want. Really looking forward to your review! :tsg_smiley_yes:

well i see that your currently using the 6064 axiv. this tells me that you like a lightish shaft that is a sr flex. Going on the same principal I would recommend you trying the DREV ICN Tour Light 54g sr flex. it gets great write ups. Key to this shaft is that it is very light which helps increase swing speed and hence distance but also has slightly lower torque than shafts of equal weight.....making it more stable.

This is the same shaft as i have ordered in my 2nd epon only difference being mine is 56g and is s flex.

I would suggest bitingthe bullet and giving it a go! :tsg_smilie_cool:

I was thinking the same thing :tsg_smiley_yes: And if I find that I prefer the Axiv I can always swap them. Thanks for you input!

Hi Chris:

Can one order any shaft/spec under the DRev line up as part of the 'stock shaft-WEpon' option for a Epon driver without any upcharge?

i know the question is directed at chris but i asked the same question. The answer is no, the epon comes stock with a version of the DREV however if you see a spec that you prefer there will probably be an upcharge. ie i choose the ICN Light which is a super exxpensive shaft, therefore i had an upcharge to pay. But from what i have read and from my sources i think the upcharge will be well worth the $$$$ :tsg_smilie_cool:

Thanks Plus1 for the quick response.

I thought I was a fairly big club ho among my mates but in this forum, I think I am just a baby with only a new set irons every two years and new driver every year.

I'm curious to try their FW shafts, and would love to see how the Proto 5350 comares to the Roddio and Axiv I have. Gonna take the Roddio and Axiv on the Vector later this week to compare...

I have a Titleist 905R, barely used, 9.5 with a Drev ICN Tour shaft. S flex. I swing too hard for this shaft but man, it is smoooooth and easy to control. Buttery. Let me know if you're interested. I'm looking to sell it. For pics, just click on "buy" then type in Drev ICN tour, it'll come up. Thanks.

ICN Tour is awesome, You should try the Mach Line stuff, but you need to tip these so if it has not been do so about 10-15mm :atsg_smilie_tourstage:

Hey Chris do they have a high kick point shaft ,where you still feel good kick in the shaft, but not where the ball is all over the place because of high torque. And also in the high 50 to mid 60 gram shafts in stiff or X flex?
