Yes sir Japan only. I really like how the faces have the slight milling marks on it. I agree they look pretty forgiving and I will keep you guys posted on how they work as soon as i got time to put them in play.

Chris these are very nice but they look to have quite a bit of offset. Am I seeing that right?

Nice innovation with the undercut channel beneath the hosel. I take it that would reduce drag allowing for the club to get through the turf better?

Glad to hear TSG will be able to now fully accomodate all of our requests for special specs by having your own clubfitters!! :tsg_smilie_cool:

Two master club builders on site. Don't need that :tsg_smiley_no: :tsg_smilie_money3:

The sole looks a little wide for me, but that could be the pix. Is that "insert" a Tungsten plug (i.e., weight) or is it purely for feel?

the long irons have a tungsten composite within the head itself. my guess is just a lower CG in those irons compared to the mid and short. perhaps by adding 10-20 grams.

Yup, 2 clubmakers, jacque and I are in the process of getting certified in repair, fitting, design and frequency but still need to apprentice under some real guru's one of which is Koyama from japan. these guys are not for TSG alone as we have some very big things we are bringing to the industry outside of TSG early next year.

The goal is a tolorence of .25 - .50 and offer whats called blueprinting standard to everyone by using 2 clubmakers to build 1 set and double check eachothers work.

Chris,

When are you testing these?

What is the offset specs compared to the 506?

Does these show an improvement over the 506?

Am I to assume they come in LH?

Thanks,

David

How do they compare in offset with the I302 What shaft options are availble Price ?

The ZR-600 has the same offset as the 506's except for the 7 irons, the 600 has more progression.

Offset numbers are recorded a different way in Japan.

Whatever the case these irons are pro level as they are the #2 most played iron on the JPGA tour.

These are wonderful irons, soft but not mushy, accurate & beautifully made. I find them easy to use & quite forgiving & is my back up set when my game is not on.

I think these are sexy irons I dont think nothing for a while can knock out the Fourteen 770 forgred I have in the bag right now. Very nice irons all the same.

Chris,

Somewhere along the way I think you said this was one of your favourite Srixon irons, but in a comparison awhile back, I 'thought' you mentioned something about them not being your favourite when hitting off a mat or at a range. I think you had another post up today about the interplay between grind and feel, so I wondered if there was something about the ZR-600 grind that you didn't like, or if the club just wasn't quite what you were after.

Cheers.
