chainsaw
I had some type of 24 hour bug so my weekend pretty much sucked! On another note, I'd like to nominate CBS as having the absolute worst sports coverage in the history of television. Their Superbowl coverage was pathetic. The announce team almost put me to sleep in what turned out to be a hell of a game. Then they went and unleashed the most boring golf coverage in the history of man this weekend. Other than Feherty their golf team is pitiful at best. I watched their coverage of the Crosby and didn't once see Bill Murray. The guy is basically the heart and soul of the tournament. Maybe I was gone the one time they showed him but all I saw was a great big Raymond-Kevin James jerk off session. Maybe I'm in the minority but I just don't think those guys are that funny. Not to mention slow ass golfers that pretty much for lack of a better term suck. The Clambake used to be a great tournament but CBS has ruined it and turned it into one long ass programming commercial for their sorry ass sitcoms. Sorry to go on a Anti-CBS rant but they ruined my golf watching weekend. Just to end on a positive note their new swing vision replay is pretty damn cool. phillypete
I too was recovering from some sort of flu that I had all week so no golf for me... I agree CBS sucks... The little bit of Super Bowl I watched looked terrrible, sounded terrible, and announcers were horrible. For golf I usually like CBS... I personally think Ferherty is as good as they get in this game. But the Ray-Kevin thing was laid on WAY too thick! I think it was more fun watching the celebs play than the pros. And how about some of the threads they were sporting. George Lopez was looking very funky, and Kevin Cosner was looking extremely snazy in his shirt and tie!! After seeing those guys out there I think I am going to retire the "baseball" caps and go for something a little more classy. Oh I also had an idea for my TV show. I noticed how many celebs these days play golf and the fact that there isn't currently a TV show that takes advantage of this. but I am not talking about that lame show that Snead used to have. Mine would be like an guest-interview show like Jay Leno, Letterman, ect. but no the golf course. Stars would come on to plug thier new projects or talkb about thier accomplishments while playing a couple of holes. Golf would only really be a setting... Maybe do like a 3 stars and myself have a real laid back atmosphere, just film the whole round and then edit it down to an interestinghalf hour show. I would watch it! AKFLY
My weekend was spent chasing three kids 8.5 ,7, and 5 all over the ski slopes in Wisconsisn. Man my calves still hurt, from pulling my 5 year old son around. He was very good for stoping in an area where the gradient ran out and then I would have to schuss him to the lift. Talk about a work out. It was well worth it tough - frozen smiles are priceless. :D
Mike
Glad to see that 2 of us had a good time AK . :) Hope that you guys didn't give your bug to anyone else. As that would not be very nice :(

Alcap26
I did not do s**t this weekend. Sat around the house and felt great about it. Watched Deliverance saturday night when I caught it coming on at 1 in the morning. Buried my grandmothers dog and then started watching Smokey and the Bandit 1 last night before falling asleep. It was cold enough to not go play golf but not cold enough to snow. Oh well hopefully this weekend I will get away from the redneck movies...I am allowed to say that (look at my location) and maybe play some golf. Alcap26
Mine favorite line is to "remind me to kick your mama when we get home" and of course tick terd. My uncle has a pristine 79 trans am. I mean about 30,000 miles completely chromed engine, painted all parts...absolutley perfect paint. It is beautiful. Now all I need to do is see Cannonball Run again and I will be ready for anything.
