Well guys the Z 101 experiment has ended . Sold them today .

But all is not lost , picked up a new set of Mizuno MP-37's .   :money:  :smile1:

Played some holes today with them and let me tell you , what a difference .

I noticed it from the get go . Makes me wonder just what I was thinking about when I unloaded my 29's .  :wah:

All that time wasted trying to get them to work and driving myself f**king crazy .

Have a great weekend and I hope that the guys in the sun belt get to play , those of you in the snow belt not much I can say

Mike,

Good to hear about the new blades. They are sweet - liked them better than the 32's.

What shafts did yo get ?

Still have the S300 in them . :spit: Don't know what I want to put in and right now there is no rush .

Have got to get used to a blade again .

They did put me on the True Temper shaft lab machine , I came out between a S300 and a S400 . Or I could use the Tour Tx 90's or rifle 6.0 .

The shaft I would like to try in the DG SL , but am kinda worried about what they would do to the SW . They weight before installing and trimming 106 grams .

Anybody have an idea how much it would drop ??

I am the lucky recipient of Mike's Z101s. I have to say that they are in excellent shape and Mike is an outstanding seller. I tried to post feedback, but the link just comes up with a (file does not exist). Anyway, I used the clubs today and I really like the feel. It could just be the honeymoon, but they are at leat a half club longer than my X16 pros. I flew a few greens and had to drop down a club on several shots. The vokeys are also excellent. These are the first Titleist clubs I have owned (except for a very brief time with a 983K) and I really like how they set up.

Denis

PS. Mike: I will try to post feedback later.

I hope he gave you the canuknuckle head discount on the irons. I had one of the greatest Saturdays of all time, I didn't do a freaking thing and it was beautiful. I'm too scared after my last performance to try to go play. I'm afraid I may have gone the way of Duval and will struggle to break 90 everytime I go near the course.

A Canucknucklehead Wannabe? I don't know about any of you, but I wannabe in front of a mooseknuckle most of the time...I'm glad somebody is enjoying those Z's, and playing well to boot.

Chainsaw..you just need to turn the brain off ...i think...but then again what do i know...i live in a state where people have to plug their cars in so they start in the winter thus am not qualified to comment about brains or lack thereof...

Mike....let us know how those 37's are working..

Well, I sucked it up and played 9 yesterday. 42 with two doubles, actually hit some really good irons shots but drove the ball like Duval. I had this weird dive bombing duck hook show up. I tried an extra half inch on the driver and am taking it to get it cut down to 44". It ain't working. I had a couple of 150yd drives  Will for sure make a comeback this weekend though.

Looks like Lance is falling victim to the mad scientist. Hope things are going good guys. played Sunday and had it going on the front pretty good although started hitting the ball right to left which does not work good when I always play the ball left to right. Got it fixed on the back. Got an eagle on #5 for 10 buck skin and my team won the middle six for twenty bucks. 39 on the front then the concentration left me on the back...thinking about too many things and shot 44. oh well it will get my handicap up. Putted good though.

wrong forum....but good try.  Maybe Mike will sell you one of his TourSpec hickory shafts.  Apparently the tour issue shafts have a different kind of epoxy on them :spit:

Jer

:-D :-D And what is that suppose to mean Jer . ????

Retail = small amuonts of epoxy, making the shaft very weak.

Tour = Large amounts of epoxy applied in different areas to control ball flight, spin, and feel.

Swing Speeds over 85 mph have been known to cause damage at impact.

I think it would be perfect for Canadian_Mike with his SS. I wonder if he would have to use a shim though....
