Project X flighted Black gold or NIppon 1150 1 inch over Thanx Monk I'm thinking about reshafting these that have the S-200 in them which are 37.75 in the 5 iron and reshaft with either 1150's project x or black gold either 38.25 38.50 or 38.75 and getting a swingweight in the D-3 to D-5 range in other words i dont want to go 1 inch longer and end up with swingweights D-8 to E-

Once you go for a full inch it will be in the D8 range. ever consider MOI Matching instead of swing weight matching?

Have no clue what MOI matching is other than moment of inertia which doesnt matter in clubs as much as in putters so so says the technitions at Taylormade thats why they are not introducing a square shaped driver but thats off the subject i guess from what your saying is i should not reshaft these R7 FORGED AS I COULD NOT GET THEM A REASONABLE SWINGWEIGHT AT THE ADDED LENGTH just for information what weighting would i find if took a shaft out of the retail head i assume putty weight in the shafts? i assume u have reshafted a couple of the retail sets Thanx Monk
