EPONfreak
With all the advances in technology it seems odd that steel driver shafts have increased in use? You would recon that no one would use steel in a driver anymore now that we can get heavy graphite and advances in club building knowledge? Any one else find this strange? That data surprised me as well. I haven't really noticed any pros using steel in their drivers personally but I guess there are some. When I first saw the data I thought it may have been for all woods which might explain it since Nippon and a some others do make Steel Fairway shafts but the data is indeed for Drivers.
