07 New Fourteen Wedge

Hi Chris,

I'm still hesitating to pick up new weapon among 06 TourStage X-Wedge, Fourteen MT-28/V2, and Gauge GAS I forged. Furthermore, even though some TSGer offered me very pristine X-Wedge but resulting from some problem in paypal process, i can not purchase those wedge through paypal. However, i already use my credit card to purchase items from TSG proshop, i think my credit is acceptable. So, i would like to know the way of purchasing second handed items from TSGers using my credit card.

And also, as per the new information from Fourteen website, 07 New Fourteen wedge MT-28/V3 series will be launching from 22nd December. Is there any plan to get pre-order for Fourteen MT-28/V3 in the near future?

Your recommends would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi Zerohandy,

If the wedge is on the Fourteen site then Chris can get it for sure. It's probably just not listed in the Pro shop yet. If you PM Chris he can probably tell you more.

As for buying second hand equipment from members, the quickest and most used way is still Paypal. It would be difficult for members to receive credit cards. Another option is money order, but then the process takes a lot longer.

Whats the difference in the Fourteen MT-28 Low Bounce and the V2 or even V3

In case of V3, I don't know exactly, however, I can differentiate between MT-28 lowbounce and V2.

First thing that i can see is the size of head. V2 is tad smaller than that of lowbounce model.

Second thing is the milling on face. You can find CNC milling in the face of V2 model but not in the lowbounce one.

Third thing is only my personal view, but i think the groove width is different between those two. V2 model's groove is more narrow. But I'm not sure.

Last thing is the bounce loft. When it comes to 60 degree lofted L wedge, V2 has 10 or 12 bounce loft, but lowbounce model has only 8 degree.

In my personal view, lowbounce model bite ball badly than V2, even though V2 has milling in the face.

These are sole my review.

Thanks
