anykine
Are the x460's square at address? Just wondering since I've heard it is slightly draw biased.
taipanli
Are the x460's square at address? Just wondering since I've heard it is slightly draw biased. All square-faced. The different biases are achieved through head design and weight distribution. Edited January 16, 2007 by taipanli
MCsub
Well, I broke down and ordered a 460 on PT6. Played the 435 / PT6 last year and it is my favorite driver to date. The shaft suits my swing extrememly well. So, I had to try the 460... Sadly, it will be a looooooooooooooong time before I get to hit it. Colorado is having a crazy winter. We have received 60" of snow since mid December in my town; snowing again today w/ 3-6" possible. Most areas (like the local track) still have 2 feet of hard crusty snow. I shut it down over the winter anyways, but I do not anticipate playing until April or May. Oh well... at least the putting will be well practiced at that point! taipanli
Installed a Diamana Red M63 in my X460. At first it was a little too whippy so I tipped it a half inch and play the club at 44.5" now. Very satisfied with this set up and my misses really don't stray too far. Length is more than adequate. I might try an untipped Diamana White Board as well. I have a distinct preference for Diamanas over the PTs or the Axivs. In any case, if you're thinking about a new driver, these new X Drives are at least as good as anything I've ever hit if not better.
