Posted January 5, 200718 yr comment_127651 Unfortunately I have no pics but they are blades and the heads are small. It is not a raw finish and the color is a slight brown/goldish copper like hue. The muscle back extends from heel to toe in a straight line unlike the MP-37 muscle back which kinked towards toe bottom. Some offset but not much. M stamp on muscle. NO OTHER stamping. It was described as a prototype set to me. Anyone can make an educated guess what these could be prototype to?

January 5, 200718 yr comment_127673 Would it be the new MP 67 available in Japan? Edited January 6, 200718 yr by Duffer19
January 7, 200718 yr comment_127741 Come on....post the pics NOW !!!! I guess the finish you're talking about is the Black Nickel finish Mizuno have on their wedges. Do they have a runbird on the sole ?
January 9, 200718 yr Author comment_127837 Would it be the new MP 67 available in Japan? Hi, Thanks for the pic. No, the mucle back is more lke the MP33 BUT the top of the muscle line cuts straight from heel to toe.

January 10, 200718 yr comment_127900 More and more it sounds like a fake from China. Mizuno would never put a proto up for sale in a store.

It is a very good condition used set. I have owned Miuras and other tour stuff AND I have seen more than my fair share of so called tour heads with no serial which actually are from the China Factory tour (you think there are really only 3000 limited edition superquad heads? I can assure you there are at least 3003 pieces and some with no serial ). If these were china fake heads (and most come from there now), it is really hard to tell.

Your tone sounds like you are questioning me and that for some reason I made this while thing up. Forget that already.
January 17, 200718 yr comment_128162 Im sure the set is real, i see all kinds of proto's or tour stuff in used golf shops in Japan. Much of it is run down but still fun to see. A sneaky camera phone click could get us the pics
January 18, 200718 yr comment_128199 Come on be a paparazzi and take the photos anyways. You won't get arrested.....promise.
February 3, 200718 yr comment_128949 With the muscle going in a straight line accross the back it sounds like a Miz proto version of the retail Nike forged blade head. The funky finish? Who knows?
