Judging from pictures of the two clubs, they look very similar. I am fairly certain that Fourteen would not have its own foundary hence whether the 770 forged is an adaptation of Miura 3002 or 3003.

This is just a silly question for a snowy Sunday afternoon.

Short answer: they are very different heads.

The 770's are smaller, have less offset, and are more of a player's club. The Miura 3002/3 are a larger, more forgiving game improvement iron.

I actually saw a set of 770s at the store. They look real sweet and I was almost tempted to get them. I wouldn't say they are a pure player's CB like the MP60s but they're definitely not Callaways.

IMO, they are more player than the MP60. smaller heel to toe and not as forgiving.

They are very different than the those miura's you have shown, just take a look at the pics.

Didn't look at them for long but pretty sure they have a thicker sole and topline. Perhaps smaller heel-to-toe but they didn't strike me as compact at all. Wish they had a demo set.
