Goshinboku
Chris, you are probably one of a select few who has had the chance to hit both of these drivers. just curious as to your thoughts? the epon speaks for itself on here from all the rave reviews! but curious as to how the pretty signifcant fade bias in the 460p is? how similar are they in terms of feel? etc.
siteseer2
Well my hope is that Tourstage learned from some other "limited release" clubs, like the Maru model that was so low spin as to be unhittable for most, not to mention its 8.5 degree loft. Inpakuto.com has a Golf Gear review that shows pretty good numbers in launch angle and spin rate for mere mortals-- like loft and spin numbers of 15 degrees and 1900 (admittedly a little low) with a 96mph swingspeed... so hopefully guys pushing north of 105 SS should put up good launch and spin numbers, even with a proto GD shaft that is X flex Edited February 7, 2007 by siteseer2
+TourSpecGolfer
I play a left to right ball flight with my driver so the 460P did not do me well. If you generate a good club head speed and want to take the left side out of play i would suggest this club if it was still available. The epon 460 can be bias weighted or custom ordered lie and face angle. Its cold forged titanium and it feels even better at impact. I will say though from above the 460P is hands down the most sexy 460cc driver ever made. Its just a little to much club for me.
