I just got this wedge from yahoo japan, It looks like Gauge Design Proper model but with different coating. any one know where it come from?

I don't know how they finished the wedge, but it does look kind of snazzi.

looking at the pictures...

I wonder if those grooves are going to be able to spin the ball???

Actury, I am still waiting for seller to ship this wedge to me, so I havn't try it. will report to here after I get it.

Thats a GD Japan wedge with an after market finish that looks very thick to my eye.

If you bought it in america good chance we sold it in its original form.

The one the most people want is the GAS1 Forged with the raw face. I would love that one brand new!!

I just got reply from GD, They say this one is their product, but didn't say how they made it.

I think FairwayFred is right about it. This looks like shot-peened process, just don't know why they did this to wedge, is that any good?
