March 20, 200718 yr I just got this wedge from yahoo japan, It looks like Gauge Design Proper model but with different coating. any one know where it come from?
March 20, 200718 yr Looks like the finish is either Powder Coated or it looks like they shot peened the head and then finished it in Black Oxide.

Thats a GD Japan wedge with an after market finish that looks very thick to my eye. If you bought it in america good chance we sold it in its original form. The one the most people want is the GAS1 Forged with the raw face. I would love that one brand new!!
March 22, 200718 yr Author I just got reply from GD, They say this one is their product, but didn't say how they made it. I think FairwayFred is right about it. This looks like shot-peened process, just don't know why they did this to wedge, is that any good?
