+TourSpecGolfer
Great post, Chris OT warning ! I see you currently play with the Mizzie E500 irons - how are they, are they soft feeling and don't they have a bit too much offset ? They seem a bit bulky to me, compared to Epon type J and X you previously played with... What about the Mizzie E500 460cc driver, I'm looking forward to a test up against the Epon 460 Technity and the Tourstage X drive 460 drivers.......will you test it soon ? They are good irons, to much offset for most, but its not a bother to me. I have tested just about every driver in both the Japanese and U.S market. My personal collection of golf clubs always stays updated with the latest product that has been tweaked after market for my pleasure. IMO nothing compares to the EPON 460 for me, X-Drive with the same shaft went about 10 yards shorter, perhaps my 100mph swing speed doesn't take advantage of its spin rates or simply the EPON is hotter. This new JPX driver, very easy to hit, but I cant tell the difference between any of these so called high moi drivers except they are ugly and usually feel pretty crappy. The first 20-40 shots people actually think a high moi driver makes a large difference. After that the honey moon goes bye bye and your left with another driver that needs tweaking or mental revamp. USGA has us max'd out. Good players are looking for amazing feel, higher ball speeds, a custom face angle and options. Thats what Epon gives its customer. No other brand or factory will do this for the public. To compare my new JPX irons to the TYPE J's i still play, they are very similar but the JPX is just easier to hit, feel is close but the Type J has the edge in that category.
