im pretty sure that new straps wont do him any good, only the tab that connects to the bag ripped off. only way to fix that is to connect it again by sewing it back in or something!?!?!

The exact same thing happened to me. I took the piece that attaches to the bag off and ran the strap through the same ring as the main strap. I will take pics tonight and show you what I mean. Just have the guy sew up the hole and re-run the strap. I know it sucks though. Big time design flaw, but nothing to worry about.

Anyone more this problem?

Exact same thing happened to my Tourstage bag a week ago.

The straps are fine with my 2005/6 stand bag. However, I ran into a problem with one of the two steel rods used to open and close the legs. One end of the rod pulled off of its holder when the disk washer came loose from tension in the two rods. Warning, do not slide the legs connector too close to top of the bag as it increases tension in the rods. This slider should be about mid-way as too low would prevent the legs from closing when you pick up the bag.
