gyli84
Looking to get myself a new putter. Face balanced centre shafted putters suit my eye and my putting stroke, but the choice out there isn't huge. In your opinion, what's the best option - both JDM or USDM - available? Whoops - should this be in the Flat Stick Forum? Feel free to move. Edited June 10, 2007 by gyli84
mramage
I would love to have a full JDM bag but I simply cannot make as many putts with anything other then my Nike Black OZ T130. Check it out at https://www.nike.com/nikegolf Never thought I would ever use a Nike club. PS. Although centre shafted putters faces balance i don't think they are considered "face balenced" because they are still made to open and close during the putting stroke. If you want a "face balanced" putter for a straight back and through stroke the look for long neck answer style or a mallet style face balenced putter. gyli84
Yeah, I don't have many JDM options. I could get a Toursstage VIQ TF1-C to match with my irons, but the head seems really big and there appears to be some offset. I tried the new Taylormade Rossa Monte Carlo #7 in the shop today. Nice compact shape and I could really tell that it was putting a great roll on the ball. The only negative is that it felt a bit light - this is coming off a Yes putter with a 355 gram headweight versus the 340 in the Monte Carlo.
