Mjr. D
Interesting article. I can't hit the ball anywhere but right if i position the ball anywhere but in line with the logo of my shirt. http://www.grouchygolf.com/2006/01/golf-ti...l-position.html
Blader-X
I would say my ball position stays fairly the same. I'm at the point where I don't think about it, but because I have a routine and from all the balls I've hit; I would say the ball position does not vary from shot to shot (on full swings). There are a couple different camps but finding the one which works for you takes a little time.
gyli84
I position the ball an inch or two inside my left heel for practically all shots. The bottom of your swing arc is always going to be under your left armpit, so it makes sense to get accustomed to a constant ball position just inside that. This way you can learn to make an uncompromised swing and hit DOWN on your shots.
golfer_junior
I never think about ball position. My swing coach will occasionally tell me to move it back or forward a bit but its very rare for me to be off by much if any.

Only time I do is when I deliberately want to hit a low running shot and then I don't align, but just move it back by an inch or so.
