Ok I know this has been reviewed before, but I felt compelled to say a few words.

Feel - The most unique feel I have experienced in a FW wood. Super solid, muted. After I hit, I find myself shaking my head. Solid, solid, solid. Good feedback...I know the results without looking.

Performance - Super super long. Sneaky long, really long. 250 off the tee or fairway, straight or draw. Very controllable. Yes I have cut it right with a bad swing, but that is my fault.

Trajectory - Mid, better than 13.5 degree that I had. Perfect for me since its role in my bag is for par 5s and some tee shots.

Shaft - Much better than the stock Mach Line. The FW65 was too soft for me. Became hook machine with the ML.

I guess that those that struggle with this club have the wrong shaft combo. I think the head design is for a penetrating ball rather than a high floating ball so the shaft has needs to be able to get the ball up some. This combo seems correct and I am happy.

Great feedback B. It is the most amazing feeling FW I've hit, just ahead of the GFT in feel. Good advice on getting the right shaft. I went with a low kicker in mine to help me get the ball up and it was the right choice...

im contemplating on removing the stock shaft in favor of a Fujikura Speeder Tour Spec 652 r shaft. im not getting what i want out of the machline.

I've chimed in several times before as I have this exact set up.

Nothing else comes close.

For me its the 13.5° with the GD QuattroTech 85s but I concur with your sentiments whole-heartedly. It really is the supreme being among all other 3-woods.

I'm really glad to hear others are liking this club as much as myself.

I REALLY like the AVIX V Spec in 8072 for a fw.... Super nice kick, but very consistent shaft... all the diamana lovers who want to throw the ball in the air a little more, with a heavier weight, this needs to be checked out... great fw shaft

Nice review....seems that the consensus is the QT is the shaft with this head.

just got back from using my 15* epon of the tee for a FULL round. i must say that i am learning to love this club more and more. it wasnt as forgiving in the beginning but i have learned to stop blaming the club and start fixing my swing. it is indeed a stellar performer but more so for me of the tee or fluffy lie.

i drove the same distance with the 15* and actually outdrove some of my friends. and they were touting the latest callaway and nike drivers. i was just using the machline fw65 stock shaft.

question is i love this sooo much of the tee how much distance will i gain if i had used a 13.5*? no intentions of getting one i just want to know as i have been using my 3 wood lately of the tee much much more than my roddio/460 combo
