leepark
New irons time and am considering: 1. Taylor Made R7 forged (japan) 2. Tourstage X Blade CB2 3. Bridgestone J33CB Which would you choose (& why)? How do they compare in terms of feel, forgiveness, distance, etc.?
jacksonlui
I have the R7 Forged and had the J33cb. The R7 looks a lot nicer. Both setup nice so it's even. The R7 is more forgiving for sure and the I prefer the R7 feeling at impact. The J33 is nice also since it's Endo forged (i believe) but the R7 feels softer. The ball flight is better on the R7, not sure why. Overall I chose the R7 for forgiveness, address, and playbility. THe deal maker is that it's JDM and gives me a feeling of having something special and different. Hope that helps. I have two sets by the way. Forte
J33 because of price. XB-CB2 becuase of looks and JDM.
K2_2
Forgiveness - R7 Forged Feel (my preference) and very versatile for different shots XBlade CB-2 Financial - J33 CB's will be less expensive and are still a solid club. If you're not worried about the $ I go with two X-UT hybrids, and 5-PW in the X-Blade CB-
leepark
Can anybody compare to the TS-201 irons?
Forte
Hey S, The TS-201 is more forgiving than the J33. The TS-201 3 and 4 irons are among the easiest I have hit.
