  1. Jackie said on the video she bought it fot 740k House Hunters have to make the show interesting. Too bad you didn't get to show off all the clubs and throw in Tourspecgolf somehwere!! Either way it was a good show. Nothing to be embarassed about. You definitely deserve a home which reflects your success. You've done awesome!
  2. i recorded it not knowing who was on and when they said after market japanese golf clubs in vegas i kinda knew who it was. i jumped up and down and told my wife i know who this is. was kinda fun. thanks Chris. that's a really nice view and the pool is amazing. a reef tank is a lot of work but it looks great against that wall. love the dogs and cat. they seem pampered ;)
  3. I wasn't able to find any info on the differences between these two? Both are mid kick and expensive. Did the Modus 3 replace the SP Orange?
  4. how does it sound compared to the 2010? i've owned the 2009 and 2010 and found the 2010 to be markedly louder
  5. i have both the 2009 and 2010 draw versions (2009 shafted with a Tour AD EV6, 2010 stock). Both provided the same distance for me. The 2009 sounded better (thwack) versus the 2010 (toink). I have to reshaft the 2010 to see if that makes a difference.
  6. i would go with the Droid Incredible. It truly is an iphone killer. Verizon coverage is best in the states and the droid apps are open source so the choices are limitless. The droid has live wallpaper which is really cool , 8M camera, and has 6GB of internal memory and a mini SD card slot for all those MP3's, I hate iTunes. You can change batteries, you can't do that on an iphone.
  7. i have the 2009 4.6d rpm 10 degree with the tour ev6 and i love it. i'm going to put up my speedline classic on the bay soon. it's a very easy to hit driver that provides the forgiveness that i need. the only thing i don't like is the open face for the model that i have, sometimes it hooks on me but all in all, it's a fairway finder which puts me in place more times than not
  8. really? i've always thought the head played a bigger role while the shaft was more for fine tuning.
  9. hey ajaykkr! good to hear from you, its been a while!
  10. sounds like fun. not sure if my wrist will heal this year though. looking forward to your review!
  11. Very Nice! great taste in clubs. what's the best public course in LA? never played north of San Diego.
  12. the problem i have is that these will eventually get into the hands of some TSG member sometimes the only way is to buy new
  13. played a round with the Yamaha Inpres X V Tour today. I'm "Inpres" 'd !! Very soft and very consistent. Can't seem to get the Yamaha driver to work though, still trying. If you can get your hands on the irons, I would definitely get it, otherwise get the TR500 if you can. They are available still on ebay for $1600
  14. did you see the prgr egg on ebay? it was $160 buy it now, should have picked it up but it was too good to be true and it's from hong kong. the following morning someone made a bid and the BIN was gone, now it's up to $400. it's crazy.
  15. better? that's too subjective. you might need to be more specific in order to be able to get a better assessment. something like which is more forgiving, more square, more bounce, etc.. of these four, i've only tried the mp68 and yamaha and hands down the yamaha for forgiveness, setup, overall looks, feel, and exclusivity.
  16. thanks for the info. the 2010 Yamaha irons have very strong lofts, historically my pw was usually 48. the wedges i'm looking into is 50,54,60. however, if the pw=46, i might be able to get away with a 52. i have several 52/58/60 sets, may be best just to bend them till i figure out what i need.
  17. Has anyone found anything (JDM or UDM) that fits the bill. I'm thinking GW used for approach shots from 100 yards in. Should have a fairly compact head for out of the rough and possesses a decent bite. It also should be forgiving and doesn't balloon. I really like the DP2010 but needing a 50, 54, 60 gets too pricey for wedges that gets replaced often. The V5 and the new Epon wedge looks interesting. I didn't like the old Epon wedge too much. I was actually going to consider something forged off the rack in a box store. Maybe something from PRGR? I know I'm all over the place, I guess I'm not really sure what I need at this point in time. I figured maybe someone else ran into the same dilemma and can offer some advice.
  18. the G15 woods are pretty nice but that would destroy the all JDM bag =) I don't usually carry a 3w but the best one I've found was the PRGR 502hit, tiny head, very shallow which is great off the turf.
  19. I'm still in physical therapy for my wrist, so far I haven't played for 6 months. I hope I can start playing then. I've lost quite a bit of strength in my right hand so I'm doing wrist and forearm exercises every other day. In the past few months I've purchased a few JDM drivers and putters so I've accumulated enough things to play with.
  20. anxious to hear your review just picked up a prgr 3w (502 hit), very nice 3w, can't wait to put it into play in July
  21. yeah, i agree. i can't stand drivers that are over 45 inches in length. the sweet spot for me is between 44.5 to 45. square to 1deg open is good too.
  22. for you Vineman23, I would just go ahead and spine/flo it. it's already in your head and it will now forever bug you if you don't. have it done and let us know if it helped, I'm very curious. I recommend Goodsie here for that job based on many guys that have had JDM work done by him. Really, let me know if it stops leaking to the right. This to me is a data point which is valuable. wow, as i type this, a minor earthquake here in san diego, pretty freaky
  23. i don't know, it's just my opinion. i haven't seen any study indicating that a spined shaft will benefit a good player. i'm not talking about a robot, i'm talking about a good player. theoretically, maybe, but the repeatability of a swing for a good player might be overkill. just because all the pros do it doesn't mean anything. they get everything tuned by default. now having said that, i have all my shafts spined and flo'd not because it helps me, but because i can. does it help me? i can't tell worth a darn. maybe cause i'm not good enough. maybe cause i only use high end shafts so it makes less of a difference. it's probably both. you guys are low single digits so maybe you know something that i don't. hey, the OP said good shots leaked 12 meters to the right, i'll take that all day long.
