is this down permanently the video section doesn't seem to work anymore

sold the 901 blades and decided to keep the 2006cb. very nice feeling set of player's cavity backs. i don't think you can go wrong with this set.

i fight the same inside out issue to the point where i had issues with shanks. the best way to correct it is the following: - put a box 1 inch from the ball so that if you push, you will hit it. you'll eventually learn not to hit it. you can come over the top or inside out, this will cause a straight ball flight and better contact. give it a try and stick to it. i like to use a long cardboard box. sometimes i would tee up near the marker on the tee box. working on your path and plane will translate to the driver. let me know how it goes. one of the reasons i was hitting it inside out was because i was taking it inside, i need to keep the shaft in front. from that picture of yours, your ball position is too far back in your stance which will also cause an inside to out swing. an in to out swing needs a more open club face at impact.

your natural shape is a draw right? maybe that's where all that roll is coming from.

are you in san diego? i bought a new set a month ago and haven't gone out yet with these. i only hit them into the net and i'm torn between them and my 901 blades. i'm going to put the 901 blades up for sale and see how that does, hopefully it will make the decision for me.

i was in the same boat a few years ago. I couldn't decide between the xdrive or epon and i did tons of reading and didn't want to spend so much on a driver based on reading. to keep it short, i bought both. the epon 460 and 445 xdrive was very similar in my opinion. i gave feel towards epon and looks for tourstage. i didn't keep either because then i started hoing and haven't stopped since. i haven't played any new set of irons or driver for more than 10 rounds before selling them since i rotate every week and i don't get to go out all the time. so if you're a club ho, don't ask, just buy, the chance are it won't stay inyour bag. if you're not a ho, just get fitted and buy domestic equipment. that's just my 2 cents.

wow, 40 yards of roll? that's a LOT! nice swing but it's hard to see because either the camera wasn't behind you or you had a very closed stance. that's a loud driver too, sounded like you crushed it. you can tell by the rich sound of pure JDM being crushed =)

thanks for the info. too bad they didn't throw Miura and Epon into the mix. i'm glad to see that the 901 blade displayed some forgiveness. wow, that burner iron..too bad it's so ugly. thanks for the info!!

what's the main difference between the V and X for the Axiv? It's a great shaft. I still own two xcon5 shafts in firm and they offer a really good mix of high launch and low spin and ball speed. I think it has been said on the other forum that these really perform.

my guess is the 501 is closest to your viq forged while the onoff is closest to the 701. Jack

i've owned the mb5002, baby blades, tournament blades, and cb202..they were all taper tip without a doubt. i remember that they were a tight fit, nevertheless, they were taper tip.

thanks for the pic looks like the cb2006 is about the same size or maybe even smaller. i still like the finish on the face of the miura as well as the satin and the pointier toe.

my swing speed is only 90 at best and my total distance is 240 on average. i try to keep my launch at about 18-20 and the spin at about 2500. i know a lot of fitters say i need a lower launch and more spin because of a lower swing speed but i disagree because it's been working well for me. i hit it high and i get a lot of carry and most of it is due to low spin. my 10.5 geotech RM has the code6 firm in it and i get these numbers on my vector. i get the increase in launch angle and low spin by hitting up on it. try addressing with the low point 3-5 inches behind the ball, this will gaurantee that you hit up on it. you'll have to tee it higher but not too high otherwise you might get a skymark, so becareful.. maybe use some tape at first. report back to us and let us know how it progresses.

how much do you attribute the gain to the training aid? or is it mostly through practice and awareness. there's been a lot of negative reviews on this device. i'm tempted though

how would you compare this to the GS wedge you've just reviewed in comparison?

sorry guys for not reporting sooner. i've had only 27 holes in on a course so far and the grind works really well for me. I've adjusted to the lighter 950 shaft and I'm hitting it more solid. I actually picked up a club longer than the Miura, not sure why, I think it's the lighter shafts. The trajectory is lower than the Rifles which I found kind of weird but spins enough to stop on a dime for the short irons. The Miura blades are still more solid or dense feeling and the 901's feel more smooth and lighter. Different feels and both are good. As of now, I think I'll just continue playing the 901's till the spring and sell the Miura blades. I also have a spanking new set of Viq irons if anyone is looking. I'm curious about the Epons, would love to do a comparison one day..for now, you can't go wrong with the 901's and they are limited to boot. I still can't get over how nice they look! If the 901 wedges were cheaper, I could've made a nice complete set. There are too many good wedges out there at that price range.

Spoon, one word...beautiful...awesome! ok, well that was two words =) For me, muscle backs are smaller so I concentrate more on making a good swing.. that's what it's all about. that is the reason I hit them better than CBs. It's all psychological. I HAVE to put the AFTours on my short list to try next year. Any feedback on the KBS versus DGS300 on these sticks?
