Posted September 10, 200717 yr The new M3 Hit Tour Fairway wood is based on PRGR's best selling M3 Hit FW. the Tour version is made for the better player and faster swinger. With a smaller more compact head and 2* flatter than the standard M3 Hit, the M3 Hit Tour is for the player wanting to work the ball and looking for more fade biased trajectory. The crown uses a carbon fiber reinforced resin and the head is sus630 steel with tungsten weights placed in the head for optimal trajectory. Available in M-46, M-43 and M-40 flexes and 15, 18 and 21* lofts.
September 10, 200717 yr This looks amazing... PRGR always makes top quality clubs.... the original M3 Hit was a lot bigger, I like the toned down colors and shallower face...
September 11, 200717 yr I ABSLOUTELY LIKE THIS WOOD NICE CLEAN LINES INTERESTING ?? Edited September 11, 200717 yr by Breal
September 11, 200717 yr How big is this head in terms of cc's? It looks to be very wide across. Or is it just me? Looks like it would be very stable especially for those who might struggle with direction. PRGR is synonymous with quality.
September 11, 200717 yr The original M3 Hit 3W was 192cc, this tour version is 165cc. Epon's is 170cc for comparison.
September 26, 200717 yr Author I gotta say this is an amazing FW, If I didn't enjoy deeper faces this would be the dream club, the setup is square, its a pleasure to hit straight, its flat out forgiving for something geared toward the tour player.
September 26, 200717 yr with only 1-2 rounds per week and only 6 months of play, how can i ever play all these awesome clubs that i want to play.....

The three wood is the only club in my bag that is not safe. This club looks like a great replacement!!!
September 26, 200717 yr What are the specs on the PRGR stock shafts? Can anyone compare them to some of the more well known shafts on the market? Edited September 26, 200717 yr by dkats
September 26, 200717 yr What are the specs on the PRGR stock shafts? Can anyone compare them to some of the more well known shafts on the market? PRGR makes their own proprietary shafts and they aren't too bad, they would probably be considered one of the better oem/stock shafts around. Very wide range of flex available, mostly mid to high kick points, nothing over 68g torque ranging between 4.5-6.7. Typical OEM specs but good quality carbon.
October 8, 200717 yr Received my 15 deg M3 Hit with M-43 shaft and wanted to give my initial impressions after one range and one on-course session with it. My current gamer is a Royal Collection Type-H II with Diamana Red. You can tell from the pictures what a beautiful club it is. It has a fairly shallow face which is what I was looking for. Sets up square and the shallow face gives one confidence that elevating a shot off the turf will be no problem. And that's just what I found from the 10-15 balls I hit on the range. Super easy to hit. The RC Type-H II is fairly easy to hit also, but the PRGR is a no brainer. Just aim and swing. I did not detect any fade bias, but the shaft is a bit soft for my swing. I was planning on switching it out anyway if I liked the head. It has a softer, yet explosive feel and matches up well with my Epon driver. Nothing tinny about it. I hit it twice off the tee and 4 times off the deck for my second shot on par 5s. I did not bring my Type-H for comparison, but the PRGR seem longer off the deck, and similar off the tee. But so far I can easily see this club winning a spot in my bag. I'll reshaft it soon and give another review after a few more rounds.

I agree totally, this is one of the best FW's I have felt, hit, and played with in a long time, I have already removed the 13.5 epon in exchange for the 15* M3 Tour. But I did put the Mach Line shaft into the PRGR and its been treating me very well for many rounds.
October 8, 200717 yr Great feedback dkats... sounds like another winner from PRGR... there are just so many good clubs out there, I may have to get one!
October 8, 200717 yr Great feedback dkats... sounds like another winner from PRGR... there are just so many good clubs out there, I may have to get one! I would highly recommend it. I don't get to play much golf now days and have been looking for clubs that offer more forgiveness, yet maintain the look and feel that I am used to. The Type-S irons fit the bill and now it looks like the M3 Hit does also. I can't wait to get a few more rounds in with it.

When I first purchased my T3 Black it was shafted with there version of Reg flex. I recieved it one morning just prior to leaving for golf so decided to game it with a smooth swing. Well here you go; it felt very nice and managed to hold up to my higher swing speed quite nicely thank you. Many folks would really like there stock shaft offering, trust me. Just reinforces what I already know; PRGR screams high quality. Edited October 8, 200717 yr by BigBen
