There seems to be sets for sale everywhere.....here, WRX, ebay.......... have they not lived up to expectation?

Just curious because I am about to buy a set of new irons and would prefer the R7 forged.

there aren't really that many sets for sale.

I've owned the J's and the R7's and I preferred the R7's over the J's.

There are a lot of guys that have back up sets.

I sold mine because I needed something more forgiving, I went with the Type S which has a larger cavity.

It's actually good news for you, you can pick them up for cheap.

I love mine. I am looking for a set as a backup.

Matched with the TC shafts these are the best all round set of irons I have played.
