MCsub
I ordered my new Epon driver and three wood just over a week ago. I even emailed Chris this morning asking for an update of when they would ship. Got the customary fast reply to the PM saying a few days more. Frickin' US mail just walked through my door w/ the unmistakable package we all love. Boo Yah!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Everything is built to exact ordering specs, shrink wrapped, paperwork w/ all the details, and a few packs of Epon driver tees. Man, if everything were so easy!! The clubs look great. It is rainy here in Denver today but I GOTTA get out and give these a go. Absolutely beautiful golf clubs. Chris and Epon - thank you so much! First class service all the way
leepark
Just curious, do US residents get charged duty and/or taxes when receiving packages (clubs) from Japan? Does it matter what value is declared on the forms?
taipanli
I also asked Chris today when my AF301 irons would ship and they actually arrived an hour later! Beautifully packaged with a note detailing the specs. Can't wait to hit them.

Blader-X
I received my new Epon head just over the weekend. If any of you remember my recent "Epon crackhead" post, the one in which I cracked my driver head and Chris said he'd replace it with the brand new logo; well its in hand. Let me tell you, its absolutely gorgeous. Don't worry, I will be taking plenty of pics to share. Now all I need is to shaft it up. TSG has the BEST customer service you'll ever see. In Japan, customer service is supreme. In fact, for those of you here in the states, compared to Japan, customer service is non-existant here. Those who've been to Japan know what I'm talking about. Through TSG, Chris brings that same idea to all of us. Just the best. And no, I don't pay any duties/taxes or fees for clubs received from Japan. Backspin9
Just curious, do US residents get charged duty and/or taxes when receiving packages (clubs) from Japan? Does it matter what value is declared on the forms? I just had an interesting experience with U.S. Customs. In the past I had ordered shafts and single clubs from Japan and not once did I ever have them held up in customs or pay a tariff. My last order (through TSG) was for 2 X-UT hybrids and an AXIV shaft. This order ws held in customs for a week and my calls and research indicated that I would have to pay a tariff because the value was over $250. The law states that a 4.4% duty is due on all assembled clubs from Japan, but not for golf club parts, i.e. shafts. I fully expected to owe them $25-$35; not a big deal. I just wanted my clubs. The order was finally released from customs and delivered by the US Postal Service -- on Sunday!! I got home from my round and held my breath when I asked my wife how much I was charged. To my surprise -- Nothing!! I guess the bottom line is -- you never can tell. Being held in customs does not necessarily mean you have to pay anything. Longer than my Miura CB1006s w/ PX6 but not by much. Will see when I take them on the course this thursday.
